Location: Surrey, BC
Fraser Valley School and Diamond School are unique and inspiring non–denominational, coeducational private day schools located in Surrey, British Columbia.
With the rapid growth and emerging educational needs of the community, the two schools made the purposeful decision to merge given their shared values. They have partnered since September 2022, with the goal of a full merge of the respective school communities for the 2024-25 school year. Both schools share the commitment to fostering a cohesive culture, supportive learning environment rooted in care, building a strong academic program, encouraging curiosity in learning, and growing courageous socially responsible citizens. With their shared values, the partnership was a natural fit.
A unique and exciting opportunity exists for a Head of School to lead the schools through the pending amalgamation, deliver on strategic objectives, and provide direction and vision to the operational aspects of the school. Some of these opportunities include building a new, purpose-built school facility, sharing and collaborating with new friends and colleagues, and welcoming and including new individuals in our shared journey of educational excellence.
The school will have a combined total of close to 650 students spanning grades K-12 across three campuses. Students will be afforded the opportunity to learn in a secure, vibrant, and enriching atmosphere where a caring spirit and supportive school community is promoted. The school represents and capitalizes on the diversity that is an integral part of British Columbian and Canadian social fabric.
